"Ladies Only" language dies out

The last native speaker of Nushu, or women's script, a 400-year old language, has died at the age of 98. Nushu had been used for centuries in some remote areas of central and southern China and is believed to be the only language used exclusively by women. Manuscripts in the language are rare as they were traditionally burnt or buried with the dead.
