Technology

Our sister company, TRADOS UK Ltd, introduced the translation software, TRADOS, to the UK translation market and Peak continues to make full use of this technology, streamlining the translation process and ensuring consistency, reliability, accuracy and best value for our customers.

TRADOS software enables our translators to build up terminology and translation memory databases for maximum consistency throughout your projects. Peak's Contribution to the Profession

As well as having pioneered and promoted ISO 9000 Quality Assurance in the translation industry and established TRADOS UK Ltd to bring the advantages of translation memory to the UK translation market, Peak is also active in developing professional standards within the industry.

We give presentations at universities on a variety of subjects relating to the translation industry. Throughout Europe universities rely on Peak Translations to assist in the development of their trainee translators.

Ian Gordon, our MD, is a Fellow of both the Institute of Linguists (FIL) and the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (FITI). He is also on the committee which assesses applications to Fellowship status to the ITI.
